Big G Express drivers can win a Kubota RTV, cash prizes and other rewards in a driver referral contest that runs through March 2010, the Shelbyville, Tenn., carrier said.
Along with the grand prize of a Kubota RTV, runner-up prizes will include a choice of iPad or flat screen TV. Drivers who give referrals are rewarded with $500 per driver hired and a 1-cent per mile increase for all the miles the recruit runs for the next six months.
In a contest that just ended, driver Arlie Brewington won a new Ford Ranger XLT and $1,945 for referring 31 drivers in six months.
