Boyd Bros. Transportation ordered 325 International ProStar+ tractors, heavy-duty truck maker Navistar, Inc. announced May 20. The tractors run on MaxxForce 13 engines equipped with advanced exhaust gas recirculation technology that meets 2010 emission requirements set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The Clanton, Ala.-based flatbed carrier was named the 2010 Best Fleet to Drive For by the Truckload Carriers Association and delivers time-sensitive steel and building materials products with more than 1,000 trucks. The fleet has logged nearly 8 million miles on 60 International ProStar+ trucks with EPA 2007-approved MaxxForce 13 engines, a Navistar spokesman said.
