Truck stop featured in cable TV show

Truckers and trucks have been featured in cable channel shows. Now it’s the truck stop’s turn in the spotlight.

Beginning Aug. 3, Travel Channel will run Truck Stop Missouri, a 12-part series on Midway Truck Stop near Columbia, Mo. Located halfway between Kansas City and St. Louis, at the intersection of I-70 and Hwy. 40 at exit 121, Midway Truck Stop is a collection of more than a dozen different businesses at one location. Businesses include a tattoo parlor, daycare, outdoor concert venue, fireworks shop and antique mall, in addition to fuel stop, diner and convenience store.

The show will air at 10 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, 9 p.m. Central.
