Indiana-native Ronnie Milner, a company driver for ABF Freight System, Inc., of Arkansas, has been named TCA’s newest Highway Angel. Milner was driving southbound along I-57 in Illinois when he saw a car turned sideways across both lanes. He found an elderly couple inside the car, and after determining they were safe to move, he helped them out of the car and got them out of harm’s way. He called 911 and used his truck to protect the vehicle from further damage until authorities arrived on the scene. “I did no more than anyone else would do,” Milner said.
