C.R. England hikes pay for Texas Regional solo drivers

C.R. England increased pay for company solo drivers in its Texas Regional division by an average of 11.8 percent depending on tenure.

The Salt Lake City-based refrigerated carrier offers flexible short-haul services throughout the region, as well as through-trailer service into and out of Mexico with hubs strategically positioned throughout Texas and Arkansas.

FMCSA offers details on proposed HOS-flexibility pilot programs

Following DOT Secretary Sean Duffy's announcement of the launch of the pilot programs Monday, FMCSA released proposals showing one pilot would add more split-sleeper berth options, while the other would allow drivers to pause their 14-hour clock for up to 3 hours per duty cycle.
