Central Freight Lines driver logs 5 million safe miles

Central Freight Lines company driver Sandy Menzdorf earned the fleet’s 5 Million Miler Award, having logged 5,375,000 miles safely in 43 years of driving long-haul, the Waco, Texas-based carrier announced.
Menzdorf began working at age 16 as a dock worker for Central Freight. He drove supply trucks in Vietnam for U.S. Army service from August 1968 to September 1969.
He and his wife, Dorothy Menzdorf, have been married nearly 40 years and have three grown children.
