Ken Schofield wrecker

Congrats to wrecker owner-operator Ken Schofield of Bull’s Gap, Tenn. Schofield won a first-place trophy in the competition at the Tennessee Tow Show in Chattanooga, Tenn., in September for this custom Class 8 wrecker. It’s a 2008 Western Star powered by a Detroit engine, Schofield says, with a 13 speed transmission and a 35-ton Century body built by Crouch’s Wrecker in Kingston Springs, Tenn. “They did a really great job,” says Schofield, who had the paint work done by Kreative Kustoms in nearby Ashland City. The rig also boasts ground-effects lighting with modular colors.
