Cobra Electronics will promote its new CB radio, the 29 LTD BT, at the Mid-America Trucking Show, March 25-27, 2010 in Louisville, Ky. Stop by the Cobra booth 11176 to test the radio, which allows drivers to make and receive cell phone calls with Bluetooth wireless technology. Every 100th person to make a call will win a free radio and a free hands-free microphone.
The 29 LTD BT uses Bluetooth wireless technology to pair a driver’s cell phone to the radio, allowing them to make and receive phone calls safely while driving. The radio features a microphone that minimizes background noise, and incoming audio is routed through the radio’s five-watt speaker. The auto redial feature allows for one-touch redialing of the last phone number called. The 29 LTD BT has all the functions of the standard Cobra 29 Series CB radio. The radio also provides instant access to emergency channel 9, as well as tactile controls to allow the driver to feel and identify the dials without looking.
