Dayton Freight Lines announced its selection as a recipient of Navistar’s Diamond Supplier Award. The Dayton, Ohio-based regional less-than-truckload company was one of 26 top-performing suppliers recognized by Navistar out of more than 1,200 worldwide suppliers. The Diamond group exceeded the company’s performance expectations for quality, delivery, technology and cost.
This is the fourth time that Dayton Freight has received the award. “Our products are only as good as the parts we use to build them,” said Phil Christman, Navistar’s senior vice president and chief procurement officer. “We expect every one of our products to have exceptional quality and uptime, and the 26 suppliers receiving this award have set the bar for that level of performance.”
