Drivers get pay increase

Driver pay increases are effective immediately, Omaha, Neb.-based Hill Brothers Transportation, Inc. announced.
Company drivers will receive 2-cent raise per mile to base pay, which equals up to 41 cents per mile with bonuses. Company team drivers will receive an increase of 1 cent, which is equivalent to 55 cents per mile with bonuses. Owner operators will receive a 3-cent per mile increase, a value of about 97 cents per mile, with bonuses and for loaded miles, depending on the trip length. Hill Brothers also offers fuel surcharges for owner operators, a $4,000 sign-on bonus for new team drivers, and $1,000 to $1,200 in referral bonuses.
