TODAY’S TIP: When you apply for a loan, provide as much information as you can. The more you tell a potential lender about yourself and your operation, the more comfortable he will be lending money. Show that you are a business owner first and a truck operator second.

Custom Rigs is coming!

Love trucks? Custom Rigs, a new magazine from the publishers of Overdrive, is dedicated to that breed of trucker whose rig is not just their livelihood, but a rolling expression of pride. Debuting in March, each issue will highlight the nation’s most tricked-out rigs, with features detailing step-by-step makeovers done by individual owner-operators and the nation’s most-respected customizers. Look for it at Petro Stopping Centers and at the Mid-America Trucking Show in March.
