CRST Malone doubles referral program

CRST Malone, based in Birmingham, Ala., plans to double the current driver referral bonus, the company announced. The new referral program means that any CRST Malone independent contractor who refers another driver will receive $1,000 for an independent contractor and $500 for a lease-purchase applicant.

CRST Malone also has two new programs to increase drivers’ success. The company’s lease-purchase program now allows payments to be as low as $200.00 per week with $0 down for trucks that are about three years old. The company says lease-purchase drivers also receive 100 percent pass-through of fuel surcharges and 75 percent of gross line-haul average. The company will also offer a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 through mid-March 2010 for new owner-operators, once minimum requirements are met.
