One of the oldest names in heavy-duty trucking – Brockway – gets special honor this weekend with a 100th anniversary celebration that centers around the Brockway Museum in Cortland, N.Y.

From Aug. 9-12 there will be fireworks, a concert, and a Saturday morning parade of Brockway trucks. Check the schedule for full details on the many events. For more information, call 607-756-6499 or 607-753-8463.

Also, you can revisit Bill Starnes’ tale, published by Old Time Trucks, about a 1947 road adventure in a Brockway: “It was a fine truck with easy steering, a roomy sleeper cab, and plenty of power in the old 360 Continental engine,” he recalled.
