cut taxes cut spending If we do not need it enough to take a loan cut it Let DC take a pay cut [a real one not cut it here spend it over there give it to the same people] Have them add all the money that goes to the same place an cut from there. I feel as company driver I need to make 1.00 a mile I can not call it a pay cut every time I get a pay raise that does not get me to that dollar how come in DC talk that is a pay cut for them .[ie I wanted 10,000 only got 5,000 had to take a 5,000 pay cut]

The ” lawmakers” should be the ones going over the cliff…

We need to stop all the spending and cut the taxes, because the last thing we need now is to increase our taxes more than what they are now. There is no way this country can stand under another 4 years of this traitor.

Cut the damn spending, cut out redundant departments that the states already have, cut out 75% of the nanny state programs. Better investigate and police SSI and Welfare. Repeal Obamacare, you can’t insure 30 million additional people and have it lower costs, Duh.

Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it. Look back at the 1920s. We had a depression in the 1920s and President Coolidge cut taxes and cut spending that lead to the roaring 20s.Unemployment in 1920 was 5.2 % thru 1928 4.2% and just by cutting taxes and cutting spending. Both not one or the other. American execptionalism was unleashed. The mechanical tv, penecilin, traffic lights, first car radio, bandaids were invented. People were able to afford to have refrigerators and air conditionting in their homes when once it was only for rich people. Taxing the “rich” to pay their “fair share” will only lead America to have more takers and less makers. Everyone needs to pay something because the services everyone gets are not free. Someone has to pay, i.e you and me. This government needs to get out of our lives, and do what they are supposed to do. What they are supposed to do they are not doing. They are supposed to protect us from foreign dangers and protect our right that are stated as the job of the government in the consittution. Neither thing this government has done or are doing. strives to maintain an open forum for reader opinions. Click here to read our comment policy.
