My big concern is that even though it only effects one course of Legislative action, historically this alleged president refuses to play by the rules,or use a process for its intended use,example-Executive Orders, which this nutcase is using to RUN THE COUNTRY (Rule by Fiat,it’s called) without having to give Congress any say-so in the stuff he’s doing. We can now assume he,Reid,Pelosi and Holder, with help from many other closet “People in Power”,will do his typical over-reach of authority to do things that wouldn’t fly in a Constitutional government.

The real mark of a leader is the ability to bring parties together and reach a compromise. This sewer style Chicago, divide and conquer is nothing more than a ‘my way or the highway’. In other words a President is supposed to represent all the people in his country, not just the ones who voted for him. Last time I studied civics the congress and the executive and judicial branches were all equal. Somewhere along the line while I was out of the country that must have changed. We now have a dictatorship. History has proven
time and again, people get exactly the government they
deserve. How`s Obama care working for ya? Wait till you
    see the new regs.

I agree James. What worries me is what is going to happen to already over regulated O/Os when the
supreme authority of the Socialist Republic of States
starts pushing through EPA rules the way Obama Care was shoved down our throat. You could also
more than likely count on open and cross border
trucking and other ATA favorites. There is, after all,
a whole year to get done what they want and I am not even sure anything will change with next years
election. We all know what came out of the first two
years of his presidency when they had full control
of the house and senate, and it sure wasn’t a lower
unemployment rate or a better economy.

I’m really hoping some of our true Patriots in congress will pull together and try to get this alleged president arrested on at least one charge of Treason, since he never provided legitimate proof of eligibility to run for President, and would have failed to get on the ballot, had not Pelosi personally vetted him. Failing that,Impeachment would be the second choice, and he’s committed more than enough offenses to make THAT viable. We just need a group with enough balls to start the ball rolling;I’m pretty sure the American Public would take up the cause. Icing on the cake would be for the momentum to carry and enable us to rid the Country of Reid,Pelosi,Feinstein,McConnell,McCain,Holder, there are several others who have also been pushing the US towards a Socialistic regime.

I hate to say it, but I think the country is too far gone. President
is too well liked. I personally think the CDC ought to investigate the spread of stupidity in this country.
Either that or they must have put something in the drinking water.
Impeachment will never happen and even if it did, it won`t change anything. They impeached Clinton and he only became more popular.
The Country is seriously divided as is the Supreme Court and the Congress and the only hope we have is 2014 elections to maybe balance it out or, better yet, shift it
to a less progressive agenda hope-
fully before too much damage is done.

Well-that’s what I LOVE about the True American Spirit-”It’s not over ’til WE say it’s over.” In the end, everything will work out fine;if it DOESN’T, it must not be the end yet. so as long as I’m still breathing,I’m not giving up. The Liberals are gonna have to WORK for THIS victory.
    I don’t think the alleged president is THAT well liked anymore. He pretty well kilt that horse with his O’care power-grab. (I think the fact that billy-boy stayed in office after the Impeachment was just that Congress gave him a pass. A stronger Congress would have made him do the walk of shame with the shiny bracelets. Just my opinion) Here’s the big problem-well,ONE of the big problems;
We’ve now had several generations of leeches who’ve had everything given to them without having to give FOR it;those are going to be the hardest to get any support from.
FIRST-we need to start, and enforce WORK-FARE,nationwide,including drug tests for checks and limited resources that they can buy with them. Then,we’ll have to fix the education system so kids learn the TRUTH instead of what the Liberals want them to BELIEVE is the truth. (Very different in many cases-did you know the battle at the Alamo never happened? Check out the “Common Core” curriculum.)

THEN we have to re-educate all the TAKERS,and their kids, and even some of their Parents. Once they see and understand the big picture of where their lives are headed, and why their lifestyle will be,and has NEVER been successful, maybe they’ll get with it and start becoming MAKERS (or maybe not),but that’s gonna take a couple more generations to fix.

James I am glad your not giving up. I am old and I am tired and I have been battling all this for a long time starting with de-regulation. Though I suppose de-regulation, which I never thought was a good thing, is more conservative than a liberal idea.
I am fully aware of common cause and my sister is an active tea party
member. To tell the truth I have come to the point in my old age where I believe if you put all the politicians in a bag, shake it up and dump it out, you could not tell one from the other.I think they all are a bunch of self serving, greedy, lying, overcompensated smooth talking hypocrites who go down there to D.C. broke and come home millionaires, if they
come home at all. I hope you remain positive, it is hard for me
when I see whats happened to the
UK and in fact most of Europe. The only reason we are not in the
same shape Greece is, is because we print our own money, but I
digress. The problem with our country is reflective in the simple
premise we started this conversation. The ‘me first attitude’ is the symptom of a deeper problem in that, if it dose not effect them directly, they don`t care. Till it hits home, dose not matter. Perfect example is Obama care. They were all warned and until they had their health ins. canceled, it did not matter, or the IRS refused a non profit exclusion for a conservative group, nobody
cared. Today, it is all about me
and the me first crowd will get a smooth talking load of BS and
believe the crap that`s fed them and nothing will change and they will deal with the hardships and
blame the Republicans or the economy, or Bush or Catholics
or the elderly or the Jews it is
always somebodies fault but not his own.

Yeah,I agree it looks pretty grim now. I’m 60,on SSD for Asthma,Emphysema and Brittle Diabetes (It’s the same as regular insulin dependent Diabetes, only it jumps off the chart one way or the other with little warning.I lost about 14 jobs per year my whole working life, because every time and had an asthma attack or a blood glucose crash and a boss had to call an ambulance, within a week I’d be unemployed. For a long time I thought I just wasn’t a good enough worker, then in 2000 I compared my work history with my medical history and saw the correlation of the two. Also,I worked a lot through Manpower because they could always get me placed, and I almost always ended up on the payroll wherever I worked,so the “not a good employee” excuse didn’t fly.) But I’ll tell you what-if my letter writing to Reid,Pelosi,my State reps and the President gets ‘em mad enough to cancel my benefits,so be it. If that’s what it takes to get this rig turned around, let’s do it.
One other thing that would be a help is to take the Senate/Congress back to what it was MEANT to be-a Temporary job,to be held for 4 years by regular guys. They’d work in the Government for their 4 years, just like joining the Army, then go back to their REAL job. Congress was never meant to be a career.

Hang in there James. I wish you all the best. You strike me as a survivor
and your courage, tenacity against difficult odds is more to be respected than most of the politicians your writing to. Seems to me you`ve carved out a more important role for yourself than just making a living, your fighting for what you believe in and that speaks volumes to your courage and strength. Blessings to you and know that you are in my prayers.
