Hot rod on 18 wheels: Antifreeze Green ’94 Pete 377

Randy MortenOwner-operator Randy Morten knew he wanted a rig with character while searching for a new truck in California. The bright 1994 Peterbilt 377 caught his eye. Painted Antifreeze Green, the former owner was ready to sell to customize a rig painted Antifreeze Orange. “It was all pimped out, which drew me to the truck as a hot rod guy,” Morten says. Leased to Landstar, Morten hauls cement out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The truck, powered by a Caterpillar D346 and a 10-speed transmission, has aluminum wheels, chrome gauges and custom interior.
