Interstate 12 eastbound will be closed Saturday, March 31, at the O’Neal Lane interchange in Baton Rouge, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development said.
Closure of eastbound lanes will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday and will last about 12 hours. Eastbound traffic will detour via the on and off ramps for O’Neal Lane, which will be closed at the I-12 overpass. I-12 westbound will remain open, LDTD said.
The closure is part of a project to widen I-12 east of Baton Rouge to six lanes.
