Many large trucking companies hire dispathchers who com efrom the “Fast Food” industry…since they are used to a fast paced environment and Low Pay….chances are good ur dispatcher is direct from Jack in the Box..who else would WANT to be a dispatcher…answer 120 calls a day from angry truckers?
Not for everyone for sure…many of the dispatchers DO come from the Prison Systems and are former COPS….usually if the driver is treated like DIRT..the dispatcher is ALLOWED to get away with this abuse by the OWNER….nothing gets passed the OWNER that he does not condone….if the driver is pressured and “horsewhipped” is approved company policy..and it SURE happens alot in trucking….since they can easily replace you with another LOW PAID rookie chump driver.

I would rather drive the truck than do the dispatchers job. Since far too many drivers have no self respect they don’t know how to give it and wonder why a dispatcher is not the NICE person after they use the foul language in their conversation.

ahahahaha That is a High Csa Score…so many of them are like that…look them up online BEFORE you take the BUS to orientation!! They will have YOU in trouble with the COPS like they are!!!!!

If the dispatcher is using Foul Language and treating YOU like a rented mule…….he has the APPROVAL of the OWNER of the COMPANY….you can bet on it!

So Many crooks in trucking….shameful industry…

I have something to say about this dispatcher issue. I’m a truck driver and i enjoy driving and getting pay for it. When I met my evening dispatcher,I notice right away that me and were not going to click, so i still when along with every thing he asked me to do, his attitude towards me and my fellow drivers was foul.i put up with his shit for a while.until i got tire of his crap,i went to the general manager of my terminal, and let him know how his dispatcher was talking to me,and told him im not driving for your dispatcher, you either put me to drive in the morning or I’m gone. So,he did the next morning. He knew the driver i was and he knew he will never get another driver like me. strives to maintain an open forum for reader opinions. Click here to read our comment policy.
