Landes driver wins customer award

Driver Bob Oitker is the first recipient of the Customer Appreciation Recognition for Employees award, said Landes Trucking Inc. CEO Jim House. The fleet, based in Jacksonville, Ill., started the award to honor employees who garner unsolicited praise from customers, House said.

Oitker received $50, and his name is inscribed on the CARE plaque displayed in the lobby of Landes Trucking.
