The Kenworth T680 with a 52-inch sleeper is now available for order, the truck maker announced this week. Kenworth unveiled the truck in March at the Mid-America Trucking Show. The company says the 52-inch sleeper is well-suited for regional hauling applications, including tank, bulk, flatbed, heavy-haul and lowboy, where drivers may spend just two or three nights on the road during a typical week. The sleeper offers operators up to approximately 600 pounds in weight savings, KW says, compared to the 76-inch sleeper available with the T680.
