PACCAR NEW MEDIUM-DUTY ENGINES
In January, Kenworth will begin installing the new Paccar PX-6 and PX-8 medium-duty engines in its conventional Class 6 and 7 vehicles. The 6.7-liter PX-6 will be offered in Class 6 and 7 configurations, with ratings of 200 hp to 325 hp and 520 lb.-ft. to 750 lb.-ft. of torque. The 8.3-liter PX-8 will be available in ratings ranging from 240 hp to 330 hp and a torque range of 660 lb.-ft. to 1,000 lb.-ft. The engine will be available in the Class 7 configuration and the tandem axle Kenworth T300.
