TydenBrammall combined a heavy-duty padlock with a Tyden Ball Seal in its new Indicator system. The Indicator has a 3/8-inch diameter hardened steel shackle and an indicative security seal through the opening that secures it. The system also features tracking capabilities such as serialization and color coding.

Wheels gone wide
Alcoa’s new wide-base wheel is engineered to work with low-profile long-haul tires on drive and trailer axles. The 221/2-inch by 14-inch wheel specifications include a 10-hole, hub-piloted mount with a 2853/4-millimeter bolt circle.

Brake adjustment indicator
Bendix’s SureStroke Indicator is a visual gauge that allows a driver to quickly determine whether air brakes are adjusted correctly. The premeasured reference unit bolts onto the brake chamber and measures brake stroke travel length via colored reference points. The system shortens pretrip brake inspections from 20 minutes to less than five.

Disposable A/C cartridges
Tracer Products has introduced a line of five Tracerline BigEZ 8-ounce disposable A/C oil cartridges. The cartridges are prefilled and calibrated in ounces and milliliters. They come in 46, 100, 125 and 150 viscosities of PAG oil. The cartridges fit all caulking-gun type injectors.

Valeo’s cab air purification system reduces allergic reactions by using ultraviolet lamps that trigger the process of photo-catalysis through a titanium-based coating, which eliminates pollutants.
