Planning on a little boating this summer? Or getting caught up with cutting grass or timber around the house?

Kris Kiser, president and CEO of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, says to think twice before using E15, which is fuel with 15 percent ethanol. He says it can damage small engines in things such as generators, chain saws, lawnmowers, boats and motorcycles.

“Fuel used for some automobiles may no longer be safe for any non-road products,” Kiser says.

He explains the problem in this video interview with one of Overdrive’s sister magazines, Total Landscape Care.
