Texas Gov. Rick Perry signed three bills at Peterbilt Motors Co.’s plant in Denton, Texas, that support the development of natural gas initiatives in Texas, the truck maker announced. Senator Jane Nelson, Commissioner Bryan Shaw and Representatives James Keffer and Tan Parker were also in attendance.
Senate Bill 20 establishes a natural gas transportation corridor in the Texas Triangle, which includes Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio, by increasing the number of natural gas refueling stations and supporting the use of natural gas-powered trucks.
