Pinnacle gets interior upgrades

The Mack Trucks Pinnacle highway model now has several new interior enhancements, including an optional center storage console, including interior lighting and a 12-volt power supply, optional red floor lighting, a standard ‘dead pedal’ for the driver’s left foot, a standard dash-mounted ergonomically designed single DIN MACK mDRIVE automated manual transmission shifter keypad, self-cancelling turn signals, which are standard on trucks and optional on tractors and others.

EPA to end DEF derates, roll back emissions warranty reg

Instead of the truck derating toward shutdown in steps with a DEF fault, the rule proposes that the driver or machine operator would receive an audible or visible alert. The engine would operate normally. At once, longer required manufacturer warranties of emissions equipment will be eliminated, too.
