Yes a terrible experience, no proper sleep and at the end of each trip we were both like zombies! We got on really well but no energy and burnt right out in a very short time.
My husband and I have done it twice. Thought we’d make a lot of money, but found out it was not the case. We did it in 1976 and again in 1999. I was one of the first women out there in the 70′s. We got along fine, and we’re still working together today. He’s an independent today, and I’m working at home dispatching and doing the office work.
