Potable Pete: Water-hauling 379

Owner-operator Jonathan Seidler used his 379 Peterbilt for three years before selling the truck a year ago. Now hauling in Pennsylvania, the rig, equipped with a C12 motor and super 10-speed transmission, once worked as a potable water carrier out of Ashland, Ore. Seidler’s truck carried potable water for domestic use and forestry throughout Oregon. “It was a gorgeous truck. Pretty rare. You don’t see many of them around the U.S.,” Seidler says.
