Prime tops drivers with 3 million safe miles

Prime Inc. recently recognized two of its drivers, Jeffrey Ayers and John Valentine, for reaching 3 million miles of safe driving for the company.

Each driver received a check for $5,000, a 3 million mile leather jacket, a decal for his truck, a lapel pin and a jacket patch.

After the truck was retired about three years ago, owner Joel Anker had it rebuilt into a show truck. The hard work paid off, with a fifth-place finish in the Limited Mileage -- Bobtail with Miles class at MATS in March.
