Anna Sosnia never planned to be a truck driver. But a few years ago she saw an ad for truck driving school. She enrolled in it and loved it.

Sosnia says getting into the industry was a “random decision” but the “best thing I’ve ever done.” She now hauls dry van over-the-road for two to three weeks at a time and runs nationwide. “I feel pretty, but also good at what I do,” she says.

Sosnia was one of three finalists in this year’s Overdrive’s Most Beautiful contest and attended the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas in August, where she was photographed in front of Brian Davis’ 2005 Peterbilt 379 and matching 2012 Wilson trailer.

Davis’ rig competed in the Overdrive’s Pride & Polish National Championship finale in the Limited-Mileage Combo category.
