Freight-matching platform Convoy has expanded its freight marketplace with a pre-loaded trailer program that allows owner-operators and small carriers access to drop-and-hook freight. Convoy Go, which opened for use Thursday within Convoy’s existing system, aims to curb detention time for drivers and provide greater access to power-only loads, the company says.

Convoy reaches near 100 percent automation
The tech-enabled brokerage Convoy says it is now matching 95 percent of loads it facilitates “without human intervention” — in other words, shippers and carriers in 95 percent of cases are connecting for loads via the Convoy app and web-based platform without direct assistance from Convoy personnel.
