The saga of Tony the Truck Stop Tiger is over as tiger passes at age 17

After a long battle between Tiger Truck Stop owner Michael Sandlin in Louisiana and animal rights activists, tiger Tony, who spent his life at the stop, was euthanized Monday at age 17 and in ill health after repeated attempts at improving the big cat's health.
