The amount of freight carried by the for-hire transportation industry fell 0.1 percent in June from May.

The amount of freight carried by the for-hire transportation industry fell 0.8 percent in March from February, declining after a one-month increase.
Freight TSI rose 0.1 percent in November from October and 4.8 percent from a year earlier.
September’s Freight TSI was 4.3 percent higher than a year earlier.
Freight TSI remained at the second highest level since August 2008, exceeded only by March and equaled by June.
Year-to-date, tonnage is up 6.7 percent compared with the same period in 2009.
The March increase of 7.5 percent was the fourth straight year-over-year monthly increase.
