Twitter-enabled load service starts

Carriers registered with Con-way Multimodal can leverage freight loads through Twitter, Con-way Multimodal announced June 8.

Load information is updated every 15 minutes, the third-party carrier service said. Con-way Multimodal arranges services for over-the-road, intermodal, flatbed, heavy haul and specialized transportation for freight shipments.

FMCSA offers details on proposed HOS-flexibility pilot programs

Following DOT Secretary Sean Duffy's announcement of the launch of the pilot programs Monday, FMCSA released proposals showing one pilot would add more split-sleeper berth options, while the other would allow drivers to pause their 14-hour clock for up to 3 hours per duty cycle.
