Two free concerts highlight annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree

Iowa 80 Truckstop’s 33rd Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree kicks off this Thursday, July 12 with an events-packed schedule for the two-day show.

Topping the list are two free concerts, a Mobil Delvac sponsored Randy Houser concert on Thursday and a CAT Scale-sponsored James Wesley concert on Friday. Other events at the Jamboree will include a Super Truck Beauty Contest, an Antique Truck Display, an Iowa pork chop cookout, Trucker Olympics and a fireworks display. There will be carnival games and nearly 200 exhibits present.

Admission and parking are free, and shuttles will be provided from the parking area to the event grounds courtesy of Freight Exchange. The Jamboree  will be held at Iowa 80 Truckstop on I-80 Exit 284 in Walcott, Iowa.
