uDrove unveils EOBR

| December 14, 2012

uDrove has released a new electronic onboard recorder that costs $380. The uDrove device is intended to help trucking companies improve efficiencies and automate hours of service. It communicates with uDrove’s compliance software to auto-fill data that drivers would otherwise manually input.

The device is “plug and go,” meaning that it only needs to be plugged into the truck’s diagnostic port to be installed.

Just my observation. If EOBR’s were , are such a good thing for highway safety and efficiency why didn’t the carriers install them on their own instead of the government pushing them under threats? These things are for nothing but control. Who controls the transportation system in this country controls the country. EOBRs are an ankle bracelet to monitor the driver in his 6X7 foot cell while traveling down the road.

Because carriers all ready have computers that tell them all they need to know, plus what they don’t need to know, smile your on candid camers. Oh and the fact that it looks like the government is pushing for it, makes it look like the computers in the truck where doing nothing. This is one big scam, total control.
