Yamko Truck Lines is no stranger to Pride & Polish shows. They’ve consistently brought their three matching Peterbilt 388 and 389 black cherry trucks to shows in the west the last three years, and they usually bring home plenty of hardware from them.
Most recently, No. 136 — a cab-only Peterbilt 388 — won Best of Show at the PDI Dyno event in November in Utah. Their streak began in 2011 at the Great West Truck Show, where their 389 won Best of Show, Working Bobtail.
The group also picked up a few trophies — including two Best of Shows — in Irwindale, Calif., at the Truckin’ for Kids show in October 2011.
At this show, they brought their two daycab-bodied 388s. In the video below, fleet manager John Gonzalez talks about the trucks and why they show, and driver Juan Henrique talks about their desire to upstage more traditional trailer types with their container haulers. Below the video there are a few more photos, too.
