Video: Freightliner with butterfly doors

| June 22, 2013

Featured in the August 2012 issue of Overdrive is a full page on Troy Huddleston’s Freightliner 120 Classic — formerly a Freightliner FLD. He started work on it in 2006 and did quite a number on the inside and out, including the butterfly doors, which Huddleston says he thought would add a unique touch that he hadn’t seen on other big rigs.

Beautiful truck-I like that it’s built beefy enough to work every day.

I had to climb out the passenger window once when backed into a tight building next to another truck. This wouldn’t help! Glad I didn’t have these doors. I hope he doesn’t have to park in any tight spots.

Just think how far you make lot lizards fly if those doors opened up fast enough!
