Shawn Gibson has a wicked obsession with chrome. His team put it throughout the belly of their 2013 Peterbilt 389, complete with a chromed transmission, which can be seen through the truck’s see-through floors. Recess lights brighten the customization.
“I wanted my engine compartment to be a jewelry compartment,” Gibson says. “I wanted the bling.”
Nine shades of blue went into the custom paint job for the Best of Show, Limited-Mileage Bobtail winner.
Wicked Obsession, as it’s dubbed, placed second in this year’s Pride & Polish events in Wildwood, Fla., and Crossville, Tenn. With its custom bumpers, custom interior and frame rebuild, Gibson was excited to take home Best of Show.
