Owner-operator wins Kronos side skirts at social media meeting

That’s Memphis-based independent Steve Nelson, hauling van freight as Worldwide Transport, doing his best over-the-shoulder with a certificate for a brand-new set of Kronos Energy Solutions side skirts to improve his overall fuel-efficiency. “I will be down there tomorrow,” he said of plans to make good on the prize, won as part of a drawing for drivers held at the first annual Truck Driver Social Media Convention today in Tunica, Miss. Stay tuned to the Overdrive website and this blog for news emerging from the conference in the coming days. It’s been a great round of presentations, I’ll say now, and not as yet finished (performer/driver Tony Justice coming up at 8 p.m.).
