Danny King’s 2005 Peterbilt 379X

Danny King, owner of Danny King Lumber out of Oneida, Tenn., owns this 2005 Peterbilt 379X equipped with a 550-horsepower Caterpillar and an 18-speed Eaton Fuller with 3:36 rears. Jacob King, Danny’s son, says they are in the process of building a 600-horsepower Caterpillar C16 for the truck. The company buys and sells lumber in the Southeast. The fleet consists of nine Peterbilts ranging from 2003 to 2016 models.
