Overdrive’s 2015 Owner-Operator of the Year, Mark Tricco, will be greeting fellow truck operators at this year’s Great American Trucking Show.2015’s top trucker will be on hand at the Great American Trucking Show this week to meet fellow operators and to help find the next Owner-Operator of the Year.
Mark Tricco, named the 2015 Owner-Operator of the Year in a contest jointly produced by Overdrive and the Truckload Carriers Association, will be greeting GATS attendees at TCA’s booth, #23121, and answering questions about the prestigious Driver of the Year contests. GATS takes place Aug. 25-27 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in downtown Dallas. Admission is free for owner-operators who register online in advance.
He’ll be joined by Danny Smith, who was named the 2015 Company Driver of the Year in a contest jointly produced by Truckers News and TCA.
Both Tricco and Smith won $25,000 with their Driver of the Year awards.
Submissions for next year’s Owner-Operator of the Year and Company Driver of the Year contests officially begin Sept. 19, but operators who stop by the TCA booth and express interest in applying can do so at the show.
TCA at the show will also be hosting a meet and greet with country singer Lindsay Lawler, along with giving away free “I love trucks” buttons.
