Crete opens online store

Crete Carrier Corp. launched an online store featuring apparel, accessories and gifts with insignia of its divisions, Crete Carrier, Shaffer Trucking and Hunt Transportation, the Lincoln, Neb.-based carrier group announced. The online store includes driver discounts, order tracking and multiple payment methods. New Mexico may close 14 rest areas

Almost half of New Mexico’s public rest stops would be closed because of a funding shortfall, according to the state’s Department of Transportation. The New Mexico DOT has chosen 14 of the state’s 32 rest stops — 13 full-time and one seasonal — for possible closure soon.
