Owner-operator Austin Ashley bagged a Best of Show in the Limited Mileage Bobtail category of the Overdrive’s Pride & Polish event in at Fitzgerald Glider Kits in East Tennessee two weeks back.You’ve seen it before, no doubt. The Raleigh, Mississippi-based Ashley Transport short-hauler of owner-operator Austin Ashley — “Double Take,” with a design that includes “two of everything,” says the owner-operator, won the Trucker’s Choice award in our Pride & Polish National Championship online vote. Thanks to a Best of Show in the Limited Mileage category this year at the Tennessee edition of the Pride & Polish series, the Caterpillar-powered 2007 Peterbilt 379 is competing again this year. Those of you attending the Great American Trucking Show in August can expect to see the rig in action there.
