The Arizona Department of Transportation will close both directions of Interstate 10 east of Tucson and west of Benson from 9 p.m. April 8 until 7 a.m. April 9 to remove the old Marsh Station Bridge.
The closure will take place between State Route 83 east of Tucson (exit 281) and State Route 90 near Benson (exit 302).
During the demolition project, drivers will be guided by signs through a 67-mile detour around the closure. Drivers can expect up to two hours of additional travel time.
Affected trucks include model year 2008-2018 Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 4700, 4900, 5700 and 6900 trucks. DTNA says after hard brake applications, the brake light pressure switch may not activate the brake lights with the light application of the brake pedal.
