Seven scholarships awarded by Women in Trucking

The Women In Trucking (WIT) Foundation awarded seven scholarships so far this year. The scholarship recipients each received $1,000 for their educational training. Several were delivered by the foundation in partnership with Ryder:

Sarah Hany, enrolled at 160 Driving Academy in Peoria, Ill. was one the recipients, garnering the WIT Foundation/Ryder Scholarship for her Class A CDL training.

Ana Silva Biscaia and Undral Naran — both enrolled at the University of Wisconsin in Superior, Wis — were recipients of the scholarship for transportation and logistics management training.

Connie Bugni, enrolled at Veriha Driving Academy in Marinette, Wis., garnered a scholarship for her Class A CDL training.

Enrolled at Universal Technical Institute in Exton, Pa., Tabitha Edwards received the scholarship for diesel engineering training.

Faye Slye, enrolled at Alexandria Technical & Community College in Alexandria, Minn., received a WIT Foundation scholarship for CDL training.

Robyn Waggoner— enrolled at Florence-Darling Technical in Florence, S.C. — finally, was the recipient of the WIT Foundation/Jan Hamblin Scholarship for Class A CDL training.
