The Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., TripPak promotional campaign that has awarded retail gift certificates to more than a dozen drivers continues through Nov. 30, the company announced. As part of the contest, a drawing for a Harley-Davidson motorcycle will be held and a winner announced in early December, said company spokeswoman Priscilla Shrader-Peters.
Truckers who use the TripPak scanning services at TravelCenters of American, Petro, Flying J or other participating truck stops automatically are entered in the contest. Gift certificates will be awarded through the end of the contest.
Drivers scanning documents through the TripPak scanning should write their names and phone numbers at the top of the scan sheet to help ACS contact winners, Shrader-Peters said.
Affected tractors are equipped with an automated Eaton UltraShift Plus or Eaton Advantage Transmission with right hand stalk shifter. In the affected trucks, the display on the instrument panel can indicate “N” when the shifter is set into “D” or “R,” causing the truck not to move.
