8 Gorilla Fleet Safety ELDs revoked
Eight ELDs from Gorilla Fleet Safety have been placed on FMCSA's Revoked Devices list, and motor carriers are encouraged to discontinue their use and revert to paper logs meantime. The Gorilla company noted it self-revoked the devices as part of product portfolio updates back in December.

One device from Columbus ELD and three devices from MasterELD were removed from FMCSA's list of registered ELDs. Carriers are asked to stop using the devices and revert to paper/logging software, then replace them with compliant devices by Feb. 9.

FMCSA continues to crack down on bad ELDs in batches with a version of Blue Star ELD and Reliable ELD placed on the Revoked Devices list. Drivers should revert to paper logs for now and get a new ELD before October 14.

The agency has placed four ELDs -- the CTE-LOG ELD, ELD VOLT, PowerTrucks ELD, and TFM ELD -- on its "Revoked Devices" list and is telling carriers to stop using them and replace them with a registered device within 60 days.
