The owner-operator bought the truck in 2021 with plans to fix it up and work it, but after having to put a new motor in it, he decided he "might as well go all in" on a rebuild. His efforts yielded a Pride & Polish Working Bobtail win.

The truck works, though its miles look more like those of a suburban commuter than an over-the-road trucker. Operator Matt Bankert's logged just 80,000 in nine years of farm work with the cabover, powered by a fully mechanical Caterpillar.
