Schneider to increase short-haul routes.Schneider National plans to increase its regional driving force by 2,100 drivers and have them in place by December.
The Wisconsin-based carrier is hiring in its West, Southwest, Midwest, Southeast and Northeast regions because of its growing freight base in these regions, the carrier said. Newly hired drivers will follow short-haul routes.
The transportation and logistics company has 12,300 trucks on the road.
