All Roads Lead to Louisville

It’s that time of year again when truckers load up the family, shine up the truck and head to Louisville, Ky., where the 31st Mid-America Trucking Show celebrates the trucking life. While it’s probably not been the best year for trucking, the Mid-America is a good time to see what’s new in the industry, reconnect with old friends and even get a chance to win some cash.

Win cash
Come by our booth and check out the “Proud American Sweepstakes,” where you can show your patriotism and win big bucks. Pick up a sweepstakes card featuring Old Glory with the 50 stars missing, a map of the show and a list of participating booths. Visit each exhibitor’s booth and get a star. After you collect all 50, return the completed game piece to the Randall Trucking Media Group (booth #156) to receive your free American flag, and also to be entered in the contest. All contest participants must have a valid CDL. On Saturday, March 23, at 4 p.m., one lucky winner will collect $5,000.

Enjoy entertainment
Kenworth will sponsor a free concert by country stars Alabama on Friday evening at Freedom Hall. Tickets will be available the first day of the show. On Saturday, rapper/rocker Kid Rock will be in concert.

Learning curve
You can increase you trucking knowledge by attending free daily seminars.

Thursday’s seminars include sessions on lowering insurance, ethics, techniques for the professional driver and legal tax deductions.

On Friday, learn what to expect in a roadside inspection, and how to stay compliant with new drug and alcohol procedures.

On Saturday, get updated on trucking regulations and wheel maintenance. Break for lunch with ChevronTexaco while you learn about maximizing your fuel economy and other ways to help you run more profitably.
